CNIB RULES OF PLAY FOR 50/50 RAFFLE DRAW
RULES OF PLAY FOR DRAWS
1. Purchaser must be 18 years or older to play and be in the Province of Ontario.
2. Tickets will be sold using electronic raffle system supplied by Ascend Fundraising Solutions.
3. Tickets can be purchased from the website CNIB5050.ca. The sales and draws will operate as follows:
Draw #1 -Ticket Sales – Starting at 11:30 am on August 23,2021 to November 21, 2021, until 9:00 pm. Draw to take place on November 22, 2021, at 11:00 am. This Draw will be a 50/50 draw whereby the winner will win half of the sales from the draw. An Early Bird draw will take place on September 10, 2021, at 2:00 pm, the prize will be a $500 Gift Card. The Early Bird cutoff will be at 1:59pm on September 10, 2021. All tickets purchased before September 10, 2021, at 1:59pm will be Early Bird Draws and the Main draw. All tickets purchased after September 10, 2021, after 2:00pm will be entered in the main draw only.
Draw #2 -Ticket Sales – Starting at 11:30 am on November 22, 2021, to February 21, 2022, until 9:00 pm. Draw to take place on February 22, 2022, at 11:00 am. This Draw will be a 50/50 draw whereby the winner will win half of the sales from the draw. An Early Bird draw will take place on December 17, 2021, at 2:00 pm, the prize will be a $500 Gift Card. The Early Bird cutoff will be at 1:59pm on December 17, 2021. All tickets purchased before December 17, 2021, at 1:59pm will be Early Bird Draws and the Main draw. All tickets purchased after December 17, 2021, after 2:00pm will be entered in the main draw only.
Draw #3 -Ticket Sales – Starting at 11:30 am on February 22, 2022, to May 22, 2022, until 9:00 pm. Draw to take place on, May 23, 2022, at 11:00 am. This Draw will be a 50/50 draw whereby the winner will win half of the sales from the draw. An Early Bird draw will take place on March 25, 2022, at 2:00 pm, the prize will be a $500 Gift Card. The Early Bird cutoff will be at 1:59pm on March 25, 2022. All tickets purchased before March 25, 2022, at 1:59pm will be Early Bird Draws and the Main draw. All tickets purchased after March 25, 2022, after 2:00pm will be entered in the main draw only.
Draw #4 -Ticket Sales – Starting at 11:30 am on May 23, 2022, to August 21, 2022, until 9:00 pm. Draw to take place on, August 22, 2022, at 11:00 am. This Draw will be a 50/50 draw whereby the winner will win half of the sales from the draw. An Early Bird draw will take place on June 24, 2022, at 2:00 pm, the prize will be a $500 Gift Card. The Early Bird cutoff will be at 1:59pm on June 24, 2022. All tickets purchased before June 24, 2022, at 1:59pm will be Early Bird Draws and the Main draw. All tickets purchased after June 24, 2022, after 2:00pm will be entered in the main draw only.
4. Tickets can be purchased for $5.00 for 3 numbers, $10.00 for 10 numbers, $20.00 for 102 numbers. Debit Cards and cash will be accepted at the Lottery Centres. Purchases can also be made online at CNIB5050.ca with a credit card only purchase.
5. After buying, patrons will be given by the sellers, a receipt with their 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.
6. The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for the draw for that day/game.
7. CNIB Gaming Employees, CNIB Board of Directors and CNIB Contractors associated with the draw are not able to purchase tickets.
8. One cash prize will be awarded for the main draw. One Early Bird prize, a $500 Gift Card will be awarded for each Early Bird draw; the winning numbers will be posted on the CNIB5050.ca website.
9. The winning ticket holder has 6 months months in which to claim their prize from the date of the draw their ticket was purchase for.
10. The winner must provide his/her name, address and phone number with picture identification for our report sheet.
11. Once the certified winner is verified, and provides identification with photo ID, they will be given a cheque in the amount of the declared prize which is, at minimum, 50% of the total sales for that game. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.
12. In the event that no winner comes forward, the winning stub will be kept in a safety deposit box and held for 6 months. After that time period has elapsed the prize will be donated to Vision Loss Rehabilitation Ontario, with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO)
